This Kid’s Air Jordan 1 Mid Reveals A Bevy Of Pink Shades

Since cupid’s unleashing of arrows last month, Nike has since strayed away from the pink-centric palette providing a shortened hiatus from the hue that dressed many seasonal silhouettes just a few weeks ago.
However, the Air Jordan 1’s latest construction for the youth, is striking down the latter with a fury. Engaging in a bevy of rosy pastel shades, the mid-foot panel, tongue construction and midsole unit underfoot introduce a crisp white base for the aforementioned color wheel to run rampant.

Coating the vamp, ankle underlay, Swooshes, laces and tread in a “Medium Soft Pink”, the presiding overlays and tongue tabs are injected with an even more titular personality, enveloped in a “Fierce Pink” contrast.

While we await the pair’s expected summertime release, enjoy official images of the grade school-exclusive Air Jordan 1 Mid “Fierce Pink” below in the meantime.

Nearly two months after their supposed marriage, Kanye West and Bianca Censori are spending some quality time with Kanye's oldest, North West.
West, 45, and Censori, 28, who were informally 'married' in Beverly Hills in mid-January, were spotted at Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday with the rapper's 9-year-old daughter.

Just days after their surprising wedding ceremony, West took North to dinner with Censori at Nobu in Malibu in January.

West stepped out in another incognito look, wearing a black ski mask over his head that obscured everything but his eyes.
The controversial rapper was seen holding hands with both Censori and his daughter as they walked through the theme park.
Censori was spotted walking hand-in-hand with West, while holding numerous bags from the theme park as well.
He also wore an Army zip-up turtleneck sweatshirt while he spoke with vendors at the theme park.
The rapper completed his look with a pair of black pants that were tucked into a pair of large black boots.
His new wife Censori, an Australian architect who works for his Yeezy brand, was spotted with a black and white hoodie with short black shorts and black shoes.
West's oldest child North wore an oversized black t-shirt with black pants and black shoes for the amusement park.
They were seen playing a number of the various games at the theme park, including a basketball game.

Adidas Kanye West's Yeezy shoes 'collectors' items'

Updated 9 March 2023

US retailer Impossible Kicks said people saw the Yeezy trainer as a "collector's item" and sales had spiked 30%
Shoppers in the US are buying Kanye West's Yeezy shoes as collectors' items since Adidas ended its partnership with the rapper, a US shoe chain has said.
Impossible Kicks said sales had risen by 30% since the sportswear giant parted ways with Mr West over anti-Semitic comments he made last year.
Adidas has said it is unsure what to do with the £1bn (€1.2) worth of shoes left from its association with West.
But Impossible Kicks CEO John Mocadlo said buyers had not been put off.
The US retailer, which has 17 stores across 11 states, said sales had risen sharply since the relationship soured and ties were cut last October.
A pair of Yeezy 350 "Zebra" shoes sells for between $340 and $360, (£285-£302) compared with around $260 four months ago, according to Mr Mocadlo.
"People are targeting the product as a collector's item now. When they come into a store they don't even know he's associated with the product," Mr Mocadlo told the BBC's Radio 4's Today Programme.
Adidas said it was considering selling the footwear and donating the profits to charity and had ruled out other options, such as burning them.

Gorgeous Pokémon, Anime Sneakers Are Too Good For Nike

From Sailor Moon to Dragon Ball to Super Mario Bros., artist Andrew Chiou is designing collabs we'd likely never see in real life

While Nike likes to dabble in the out-and-out nerd market sometimes, from Doraemon to Hello Kitty, for the most part the company likes to keep its collabs subtle, and has not worked with Nintendo for a long time. Meaning it will likely never officially release shoes this nice.

The sneakers you’re seeing in this gallery are all the work of artist Andrew Chiou, who has been doing the rounds on shoe blogs this week for his recent Pokémon work, but that stuff is just scratching the surface. Using Dunks and Jordans as his canvas, Chiou has painted (or at least designed) a ton of custom sneakers lately based on everything from Dragon Ball to Sailor Moon, sometimes for customers, and sometimes as one-offs for celebrities and athletes.

Nike To Release An Air Force 1 Flyease, But Without Any Apparent Easy-Entry Mods

Introduced in 2015, Flyease — the Swooshes’ easy-access tooling for those with limited mobility — has stretched across the entirety of the Beaverton brand’s diversely tooled archives, culminating in its first hands-free iteration with 2021’s Go Flyease. From everyday wear to the hardwood, one of the sportswear behemoth’s most iconic silhouettes has yet to be reconfigured, that is until today when official images of the Nike Air Force 1 Flyease surfaced for the first time.
Extending the silhouette’s synonymous “Uptown” color blocking, the triple-white ensemble boasts an identical composition to that of its 1982 predecessor. Save the jet-black Nike Air and Flyease branding affixed to the tongue tab and insoles, metallic chrome dubraes render their typical placement while harkening to Peter Moore’s original design. However, based on the aforementioned images, there seems to be no apparent modification that would allow for the compatible ease of entry like the Air Jordan 1 or the Air Deldon 1’s one-handed entry system and drop-down constructions.
Nike Flyease tech is made to look apparent on its footwear. The logo on the insole and lace-lock on the tongue may suggest that the heel is completely collapsible, therefore rendering the Flyease mods entirely clandestine. No release date information has been shared just yet.

The inside track on New Balance's sensible sneaker revolution.

The £70 billion global trainer market has a new major player – here's how it happened

Halfway through the manufacturing process, about 90 seconds before they start looking like shoes, New Balance 990s are just two-dimensional slabs of branded fabric and leather, flat enough to be stacked, rubber-banded together, and passed from one worker to the next. As much as the two grey “N” logos stitched on each sheet of 990 material, it is the pattern of the upper that makes it recognisable, even without the familiar curves of a sneaker.

Somehow, the essence of the 990 arrives ahead of those things that actually make it a shoe – sole, laces, tongue – it’s been beloved for years by normcore icons Adam Sandler and Steve Jobs, and, more recently, by style mavericks like Chris Pine, Zoë Kravitz, and Timothée Chalamet.

Clot's Nike Clotez ‘Bruce Lee’ sneaker could KO an entire dojo

If you've been in streetwear game for a while, chances are you've heard of Clot. Founded in 2003 by Edison Chen and Kevin Poon, the aim of the brand has always been to bridge Eastern and Western culture. This aesthetic has spawned multiple collabs from the likes of Coca-Cola, Stüssy, and of course, Nike, who they've worked with several times over the past 20 years. From Air Max 1s that you can totally transparent, to Dunks that are completely covered in a mirrored finish, the Hong Kong-based brand won't let up.

After releasing its very first Clotez collab earlier this year, Clot and Nike are back at it again, fly-kicking in with a Bruce Lee-inspired colourway. A nod to the legendary martial artist's signature yellow and black jumpsuit from 1978's Game of Death, if you're a fan of his art, philosophy, and of course, his films, then you're gonna want to get these in your collection.
